Aashutosh Mistry

Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering

Aashutosh MistryProfessor Mistry’s interest lies in studying nonequilibrium material behavior to engineer systems for energy generation, storage, and conversion. Relevant nonequilibrium interactions are reactions, species transport, charge transfer, phase change, fluid flow, and heat exchange. To capture the complexities of these interactions and offer predictive insights, his group synergistically combines physics-based theory, controlled experiments, and data-driven analysis across molecular and continuum scales.
