Dr. Craig Brice, a Professor of Practice in Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Program, first came to Mines in 2018 with the formation of the Advanced Manufacturing interdisciplinary graduate program. He was brought on board full time to lead that program and support research activities within ADAPT. He is currently working on the “qualification” problem for additive manufacturing (or 3D printing) along with many other faculty members across several departments.
