Prof. Anne Silverman was elected a 2020 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Fellow this fall. The distinction of Fellow is bestowed upon ASME candidates to recognize their outstanding engineering achievements. Candidates are nominated quarterly by ASME Members and Fellows and reviewed by the Fellows Review Committee, which consists of 15 distinguished ASME members. To be considered, candidates must have at least 10 years of active practice, 10 years of corporate level ASME membership, and are nationally or internationally recognized for their significant achievements and contributions to engineering.
